Fish Camp! and Urban Ventures partner to teach Minneapolis youth fishing and boating skills
Fish Camp!, a leading provider of interactive educational programs that promote and encourage the sports of fishing and boating, announced today they will be holding two day camps with Urban Ventures.

MINNETONKA, MN, July 11, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On July 12th and 13th youth from Urban Ventures will attend Fish Camp! at the Mound Depot, located at Mound, Minnesota on Lake Minnetonka. Each student gets their very own rod, reel and tackle box full of gear. Kids learn how to use and care for their new equipment, tie fishing knots, identify and hold fish and how to locate many other great fishing holes around the Minneapolis area. Each student will have a chance to ride in a professionally rigged Ranger bass boat with Professional Angler, Dan Jasper. While in the boat, the students will learn boat safety, water buoy systems, and how to use the on board equipment, such as the underwater camera and electronics, giving them the ultimate fishing and boating experience. "This is absolutely one of the best ways to introduce our youth to fishing." says Dan Jasper, "We don't just take your children fishing, we teach them how to fish."
